Terms of use

These are plain terms for using FlipCompass.

The figures on this site are information, not advice. Stars, forks, open issues, languages, licences and dates are what GitHub's public API reported on the fetch date printed on the page. They are a snapshot and they change on GitHub without this site changing.

No repository is recommended, ranked or endorsed here. The order used throughout the site is the number of stars GitHub reports and nothing else; it is not a judgement about quality, fit or security.

Licence labels are GitHub's own classification. A label of “other licence, see the repository” or “not stated” means GitHub did not give a usable identifier; read the repository itself before relying on any licence.

Descriptions are the project's own text as GitHub reports it, reproduced without editing. Each repository's source code, documentation and licence belong to its own authors.

The site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law the publisher is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or from reliance on any figure printed on it.
